This Charter deals with initial contact with all underage children migrating to countries of the European Union, regardless of their origin. It guarantees the respect of fundamental rights as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, according to the principles stipulated in the 1989 International Convention Of Children’s Rights, as well as by the Council of Europe Charter regarding education towards democratic citizenship and education towards human rights adopted in 2010. This charter is the final result of a two year project called Inclusive Schools for an Inclusive Society 2017- 2019 under the Erasmus+ programme co-funded by the EU.
This charter was collaboratively written by the four following schools:
